This edition will be special as it simultaneously takes place in the two capitals of the Iberian Peninsula, coming for the third time to Lisbon and debuting in Madrid.
In addition to the previously confirmed artists, two new names have been added: the renowned Joe Goddard, an eminence of the most colorful synth-pop, and the emerging band Monobloc with their fresh interpretation of carefree pop-rock. Pure sonic caviar.

LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service + Death Cab For Cutie, The Smile, Nation Of Language The Kills, Dudu Tasa and Jonny Greenwood, English Teacher, Joe Goddard
On Thursday, August 29, KALORAMA Madrid kicks off with great power, where guitars in different styles and forms take center stage, led by the dance-punk “tribulations” of New Yorkers LCD Soundsystem. The intergenerational indie pop of The Postal Service will be combined with Ben Gibbard’s other mythical project, Death Cab for Cutie. The intergenerational indie pop of The Postal Service will be combined with Ben Gibbard’s other legendary project, Death Cab for Cutie. The Smile, a group composed of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood as 50% of Radiohead, joined by Sons of Kemet’s drummer Tom Skinner, will open the jar of the essences of the most alternative rock. Greenwood also performs double duty with Dudu Tassa & Jonny Greenwood in a mix of experimental and traditional sounds. The 2000s rock flavor comes with the exhilarating The Kills, complemented by the indie sound of Nation of Language and the effervescence of English Teacher, presenting a day where strings set the trend, alongside the aforementioned Joe Goddard.
Friday, August 30: An explosion of avant-garde and hits.
RAYE, Fever Ray, Gossip, Overmono, Soulwax, Yard Act, Yves Tumor, Colectivo da Silva, Tristán!
Virtue lies in balance, and the second day of KALORAMA Madrid will showcase this with the most transversal programming. Hits will be delivered by RAYE, the great phenomenon of the British scene last year as the absolute queen of R&B and soul of the new millennium. Gossip’s synth-pop, led by Beth Ditto, promises a bacchanal of festive rhythms, while the most deconstructed electronic and pop come with cult proposals like Fever Ray, the force of Overmono, the avant-garde exploration of Yves Tumor, or the fun elegance of Soulwax. Rock lovers will not be disappointed by Yard Act, while warmer vibes will come with Colectivo Da Silva‘s tropical pop and TRISTÁN!‘s impeccable sensitivity. A complete and varied day.
Saturday, August 31: Prepare the glitter for the most British sounds.
Massive Attack, Sam Smith, Jungle, Peggy Gou, Ezra Collective, Olivia Dean, Huda, Monobloc
The first edition of KALORAMA Madrid bets big on iconic names that represent the past, present, and future with a clear connection to the British Isles. This includes the masters of trip-hop, Massive Attack, the Bristol band committed to and creating timeless hits since the 90s. Sam Smith is a pop titan and the voice of a generation, celebrated for his melodic capacity that has earned him awards from Grammys to an Oscar. The essence of clubbing built on the London scene is represented by South Korean Peggy Gou, a popular figure transcending DJ booths thanks to tracks like “It Goes Live (Nanana).” Funk and electronic music also come from the UK with the unstoppable Jungle, turning their concerts into a real party, just as Ezra Collective brings a unique personality to contemporary jazz. Let’s not forget young English artist Olivia Dean as the new hope of neo-soul. The relentless rhymes of Huda and the presence of Monobloc as a new addition complete the lineup for the final day.
